Dr. Elizabeth Cordes
has over 15 years’ experience in the practice of family dentistry treating patients of all ages. She and her husband, Roger, moved to Oriental from Raleigh in 2005, and opened Oriental Dental in January 2006. Dr. Cordes is a graduate of North Carolina State University and the University of North Carolina School of Dentistry. She is an active member of the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, and the North Carolina Dental Society. Dr. Cordes is committed to providing the highest quality care and treatment for all of her patients, and accomplishes this through rigorous continuing education coupled with the depth of her experience in the field of general dentistry. Dr. Cordes is also committed to ensuring that access to proper dental care be made available to anyone who needs it, and has demonstrated that commitment as a participating dentist with the Hope Clinic mobile dental unit.

Dr. Cordes is also enjoys sailing, and she and Roger can occasionally be spotted on the waters of the Neuse aboard their 1980 Catalina 27, “Pumpkin.”
